The Babysitter
I felt it as soon as she walked through our front door; she was coming for me.
The way her smile curled when she patted my head.
She was possessed.
Her footsteps got closer and closer.
The lights flickered, blinding me.
A high-pitched wail pierced through my ears, "Who wants a bed time story...?"
With a jolt, I woke from my nightmare. I realised today was the day the widow was babysitting me.
