Peace

One night William was watching TV. He was about to head up to bed because he was tired, so he went upstairs to bed to sleep. Suddenly came a noise from the neighbours; they were having a party! They weren't giving peace for William, so William said to them, "Please can you keep the noise down as I’m trying to sleep?" But they said, "No!", so William went back to bed. Then came a loud knock from the door the neighbours. They said they would be nice and peaceful  Without peace we wouldn’t get the things we get now. We would have wars and fights, so please keep the world peaceful and remember to be peaceful for neighbours.  by Charlotte Year 9

What would the world be without forgiveness?

Wars wouldn’t end  Fighting would be a trend  Peace would be a dream  Revenge would be keen No one would get on  Close bonds would be gone Humanity wouldn’t survive If forgiveness didn’t keep it alive by Ted Year 8

Peace?

What is Peace? Will it ever be seen? the opposite of anything mean.   War torn streets, down the wind blows, not somewhere peace can echo.   Bombs go off, the skies just cough, peace is near? is that what you here?   No more tears, death is not around, peace is here, that’s the sound. by Ava Year 7

War= Peace, Reconciliation and Forgiveness

War uses all of the factors of Peace, war and reconciliation. Before conflict, there is peace and everyone is going about their business. After the war Reconciliation kicks in and everyone begins to get along and forgive and forgive each other. In some cases, there is reconciliation, but no real forgiveness will be made between the two forces.  Like in wars, we should all come to respect these values and live a happy life. by Louis Year 8

Forgiveness

Sam dared to lift himself up a bit and gaze over the tangle of barbed wire to the horrific pile of dead bodies and animals that littered No-Mans-Land. It was Christmas tomorrow, and he would be spending his time here…  He saw movement on the enemy’s side. Could he believe his eyes?! A couple of Germans were picking their way through their barbed wire, really slowly as well. Did they want to get themselves killed?They didn’t even have bayonets!! He was too bemused to even aim his rifle, let alone shoot. The men seemed to be carrying something. It looked like a… football? A football? In the middle of a war? How crazy were these people?! Craving some explanation, Sam looked over at Sergeant Black who was positioned a few yards away. “What in Christ’s name are they doing?” He asked. “Christmas truce.” The Sergeant replied. “Along this line we’re ceasing fire for Christmas.” He looked over at the Germans and sniffed distastefully. Sam looked again at the Germans,  who were

Self Forgiveness

I walked with my head down. My gaze sadly planted on my feet as I trotted through the crunching gravel. I couldn’t get my mind off of them; I couldn’t stop thinking about how they did me wrong. My heart was throbbing with hatred. I reflected on every cruel thing they did, every word of loathing they spoke, every hurtful action that was inflicted against  my skin. The very thought of their face made my blood boil and I despised them. I dragged my feet along the rugged path and continued to stare downwards, not acknowledging the world around me. Everything seemed to fade into sadness and hate. All I wanted to do was have vengeance and closure for the anger and aggression building up inside of me. I needed revenge. Crash! I hit the floor and my head landed on the jagged ground. “Ow...” I mumbled in slight agony. “My apologies!” A hushed voice whispered softly. I raised my head to see a young girl, who had soft blonde hair  and glistening blue eyes.   The
